These images are of my 96-year-old grandmother. I wanted to capture her still being herself in her own home while also highlighting how relatable this stage of life is when we reach this age. It was an honor to spend time with her, see her grow older, and be there when she passed. These images resonated with me on a deeply personal level; it made me reflect on how growing old is something we all will experience, and I wanted to interpret this message as the boundary between life, these age milestones, and the transition to the afterlife.
